But false prophets also arose among the people, just as there will be false teachers among you, who will secretly bring in destructive heresies, even denying the Master who bought them, bringing upon themselves swift destruction. (2 Peter 2:1)
Leon Du Preez is a young man in Gauteng, South Africa that claims he was called at a very young age to the Prophetic ministry. It wasn’t a sense or leading but according to him it was via the Physical appearance and call of God Himself. On his Prophetic Institute Website, he describes his bona fides,
“He has been both recognized and fathered by the genesis and pioneer of the modern-day prophetic movement — Prophet Uebert Angel, who is known as a Prophet to Prophets, having prophesied to presidents, actors, global icons and foretold various world events, changing the course of nations and history.”1Prophetic Institute Website
Du Preez views himself as an Evangelist that works in a revival atmosphere and as noted, presents as his credentials his assertions that God Himself personally visited to appoint him to Prophetic office and he was confirmed by Prophet Uebert Angel.
Leon’s teaching
The church Leon pastors is Encounter Church in Centurion and Krugersdorp, South Africa but is achieving an international reach over the Internet and has a campus in Statesboro, USA. The church’s basic beliefs are stipulated in the Statement of Faith on their website, but we need to remind our readers that a statement of faith may not actually reflect what a person or group actually believes. We need their dictionary. How do they define their words? Their comments, expressed views, and actions reveals and clarifies that their true beliefs are sometimes in opposition to what their stated beliefs may be. The broad narrative of Leon’s teachings does not fit with the general statement of faith on his website. More importantly it does not conform to the essential orthodox doctrines of the historic biblical faith.
Leon teaches basic New Apostolic Reformation theology. God is limited and dependent on humans. Leon declares that God needs His Church’s prayer to accomplish what He needs to do in this World. In the words of Leon,
“Prayer gives Heaven License to intervene in the affairs of this world.”2Prophet Leon Du Preez | The Limited God | Ad Lucem Ministries | Ps Rudolph P Boshoff, December 2, 2020
As pointed out earlier, Leon’s appeal to signs and wonders to affirm his teaching’s validity, and the prophetic is essential to God’s expressed Kingdom right now on the earth. There are at least two problems with this claim. The first is that according to Jesus, false prophets may perform signs and wonders but that doesn’t validate their claims to be called of God.(Matthew 7:22-23) Second, I have shown in Methods of Madness: Prophetic Techniques EXPOSED that Leon’s Prophecies are not supernatural but can be deemed ordinary predictions and hunches explained by various cold reading techniques. Leon maintains that because Prophets directly speak oracles from God, their words are to be honoured as God speaking via these Prophetic impressions. They are to be regarded as authoritative as Scripture. He writes.
“We need to understand that prophets speak the oracles of God. This means that when we receive what they speak, and honour their words as coming from the God, we receive and honour what is of God.”3Leon Du Preez; A PROPHETS REWARD, November 13, 2020
There are various modes of revelations, and Leon maintains that revelations can be stirred via a direct revelation of God’s revealed presence, visions, and even angels. Leon declares that Christians should look and even increase in dreams and trance-like experiences and for a fee will teach you how to put this into practice.4How to See Visions? Course As a sidenote, we do not find in Scripture in either Old or New Testament that those whom God called had to learn how to prophecy, see or interpret visions. The Spirit came upon them and they immediately performed what God enabled them to do, without error.
I believe that Encounter Church is not an ordinary Charismatic move, but in all aspects, ventures into metaphysical realities that would more accurately defined as an esoteric cult. Leon promotes various elements that are not Biblical, like Rhematology,5i.e., Theology of the Spoken Word Commanding demons, and Out of Body Experiences. Leon did relate that in his earlier life, he indulged in some of these practices.6Leon’s Spiritual Battle, July 19, 2016 One of the most notable metaphysical teachings is that Words can create realities.7Positive Confession: Can I have what I say? | Ad Lucem Ministries | Ps Rudolph P. Boshoff, January 11, 2020
The Theology of the Spoken Word, or thought actualization, is commonly known as positive confession. It stresses the inherent power of words and thoughts and holds that every person predestines his future by what he says verbally and by how well he uses spiritual laws of positive confession. This teaching asserts that we live in a mechanistic universe instead of a personal one, and if we declare the right Biblical passages, God must perform or bring to pass what you asked.8Positive Confession and the Biblical Christian (Part 1 of 2); Pastor Rudolph Boshoff D. R. McConnell wrote,
“The Working presupposition of positive confession is that one’s mental attitude determines what one believes and confesses, and what one believes and confesses determines what one gets from God.”9A Different Gospel: The Doctrine of Faith, Hendrickson Publishers, 1995; Pg.135
Leon declares boldly;
“Do you know the power locked up in your words? Your voice carries the very same power and authority as Jesus’ voice carried. When Jesus spoke to the storm, there was a great calm. When Jesus addressed sickness, there was instant healing which took place. When Jesus spoke to demons, they were cast out at His word. If a demon submitted to the words of Jesus, and they submit to the words of those who walk in power, then everything else should submit to your words too – your bank account, your health, your storms, and your circumstances. The opposite is also true. When Jesus cursed the fig tree, it withered up and died. The question is, do you speak life over yourself, or do you curse yourself with words of complaining, words of negativity and words of doubt? God has every intention to bless you, but if your words are constantly bringing death and destruction, then is God not answering your prayers or are you simply aborting that which He wants to do in your life? May we become so aware of the words we speak, and may we channel the power locked up in our breath to achieve the impossible and attain the unthinkable.”10THE WORD YOU SPEAK TODAY CREATES YOUR TOMORROW, Leon Du Preez; March 24, 2020
Commentator on the New Age Metaphysics Ron Rhodes writes;
“According to New Thought, human beings can experience health, success, and abundant life by using their thoughts to define the condition of their lives. New Thought proponents subscribe to the “law of attraction.” This law says that just as like attract the things they want or expect. Negative thoughts are believed to attract more desirable circumstances; positive thoughts attract more desirable circumstances. Our thoughts can be either creative or destructive. New Thought sets out to teach people how to use their thoughts creatively.”11Ron Rhodes, The Counterfeit Christ of the New Age Movement, Baker Publishers, 1991; Pg.149.
Leon declares quite comfortably that the supernatural should be normative in the life of all true believers. He writes;
“God has ordained for you and me, long before the foundations of the Earth, to tap into the dimensions of the supernatural, both to attain ‘higher living’ for ourselves, as well as for those around us.”12THE OBED-EDOM DIMENSION; Leon Du Preez, July 9, 2020
Leon teaches that we can independently command the Spiritual realm in a very similar manner as Jesus Christ did when He walked the earth.
“We need to have a realization today of the power that we carry! If you read this verse, the Bible says that Jesus permitted them. You have the ability to do the same! Demons can beg you to cast them out, and you can permit them or not. You have control over them simply by the words that you speak. Didn’t Jesus say that you will do greater works than Him? You have the ability to allow a demon to do something or not.”13A SIGN OF YOUR DELIVERANCE; Leon Du Preez; September 1, 2020
A feature of this Prophet’s teaching is classic Word of faith Theology which declares that we are little gods. This doctrine is heretical and has numerous implications for those that profess it. Leon writes;
This is the very same method in which God created the heavens and the earth. When you study creation and you read that God was hovering over the face of the earth, what it actually means is that as God was brooding over the waters, constantly imagining a possible outcome. He saw the creation in its fullness through His imagination before it was even formed! The Bible says that we were created to function like God. We carry His likeness and DNA. So today I’d like to encourage you to use your mind — your imagination — and begin to create your future.14WHAT DOES YOUR IMAGINATION LOOK LIKE?; Leon Du Preez, November 3, 2018
Another tenet of Leon’s ministry is the principle of sowing and reaping which in Word Faith teaching is a principle which promises that you monetarily obtain attain the gifts and favor of God. Financial giving is an integral part of his ministry, and every session or event is prefaced with the opportunity to give so that God may provide to you. For Leon, favor from God comes directly;
“In the Body of Christ there are different Graces and Anointings. You can meet someone with a healing Grace and that Grace can fall on you, the same is true with favour, the Grace of favour that someone carries can be imparted to you. The Gift that you honour will determine what you receive.”157 KEYS TO PROVOKE FAVOUR; Leon Du Preez, October 22, 2020
“God measures our tithes and offerings by the amount we keep for yourself.16HEAVEN’S SCALE; Leon Du Preez, April 6, 2020
Concerns about Evangelical Prophecy
Scholar David A. De Silva cautions in his textbook, An Introduction to the New Testament: Contexts, Methods & Ministry Formation, that;
“Once authority becomes located in the teacher’s alleged access to the divine, it is quite difficult to bring external, objective standards to bear on evaluating their claims.” (David A. De Silva, An Introduction to the New Testament: Contexts, Methods & Ministry Formation InterVarsity Press (IVP), 2004; Pg.873-874)
So many people abandon themselves completely to what the prophet has to say. Biblically Jesus shows that there will be a change in dispensation when he gives the Gospel.
“Until John the Baptist, the law of Moses and the messages of the prophets were your guides. But now the Good News of the Kingdom of God is preached, and everyone is eager to get in. (Luke 16:16).
There is a succession of the mode of expected revelation, in the Old, the Law of Moses and the Prophets. From patriarchs and the prophets to the people. Now in Christ, from Christ to the Church. Jesus therefore announced in Matthew’s Gospel (11:13).
“For all the prophets and the law prophesied until John.”
Or as the author of Hebrews said,
“On many past occasions and in many different ways, God spoke to our fathers through the prophets. But in these last days He has spoken to us by His Son, whom He appointed heir of all things, and through whom He made the universe.…”
So, what is true New Testament Prophecy? John the Beloved Disciple (19:10) writes,
“Worship God! For the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.”
We can recognize from Scripture that what Leon endeavours to do is declared redundant Biblically. Jesus ushered in a new dispensation, and as our mediator, we should wholly lean on His guidance and Prophetic office (1 Tim.2:5, Heb.12:1-2), not another man of God that declares, ‘thus saith the Lord.’
When we look at this man’s following, we see that people allow for everything to be directed by the Prophetic, and Leon seems to be the Prophet to observe and associate with. In their book, A New Apostolic Reformation: A Biblical Response to a Worldwide Movement, Holly Pivec & Dr. Douglas Geivett wrote.
“because of the extraordinary authority attached to the words of a … Prophet, a great danger is that people… will become overly dependent on seeking personal direction from such prophets… [and] they will obey the words of a … Prophet much as they would the words of God.”17R.Douglas Geivett & Holly Pivec, A New Apostolic Reformation: A Biblical Response to a Worldwide Movement Lexham Press, 2014; Pg.136
I fear this is what has happened in these Churches. Because of the global influence and the social media influx of ministries like this, it is essential for us to be sober and ‘test the spirits to see if it is from the Lord’ (1 Joh.4:1).
In conclusion, Joel R. Beeke and Paul M. Smalley writes;
“When people ascribe that authority to mystical experiences, the results are damaging to their spiritual lives, sometimes tragically so. Here the saints must embrace the balance of biblical wisdom. We must not deny the reality of Christian experience as the Holy Spirit works in our lives. Christianity is not merely a set of prescribed beliefs and behaviors. It is not less than that, but it is more, for it engages the affections of the heart. The saints walk with the living God. Christ is real to the believer, and his Spirit is our indwelling divine companion. However, we also must not fall into experientialism, ascribing divine authority over our faith and obedience to spiritual experiences. The belief that God continues to grant special revelation through personal experience fosters unhealthy experientialism.”18Pastoral Concern about Evangelical Prophecy, Joel R. Beeke, Paul M. Smalley, April 20, 2019Ω

Good day
I am asking this question in all humility having been deceived by a false church and false prophet myself.
This questions has nothing to do about Leon Du Preez, I do not know him or follow his teachings.
This questions has to do with your comment about no need for prophetic schools. You mention that neither in the Old testament or New testament we find that those whom God had called had to learn how to prophecy. However in the book of Samuel it clearly states that there was a company of prophets and that the moment that Saul joined this company of Prophets he immediately started prophesying (1 Sam 10). For me that shows that there was something such as a school of prophets aka Company of Prophets and also that there can be a spirit or anointing of prophecy when a corporate gathering takes place with prophetic people because Saul could prophecy when he was amongst the prophets but the prophetic ability stopped when he left the prophets.
1 Samuel 10
9 And when [Saul] had turned his back to leave Samuel, God gave him another heart, and all these signs came to pass that day.
10 When they came to the hill [Gibeah], behold, a band of prophets met him; and the Spirit of God came mightily upon him, and he spoke under divine inspiration among them.
11 And when all who knew Saul before saw that he spoke by inspiration among the [schooled] prophets, the people said one to another, What has come over [him, who is nobody but] the son of Kish? Is Saul also among the prophets?
12 One from that same place answered, But who is the father of the others? So it became a proverb, Is Saul also among the prophets?
13 When Saul had finished prophesying, he went to the high place [of worship].
I am posing this questions as I do want to be rooted in sound doctrine and not be deceived again. I do however have some question marks coming up in my mind whilst reading your article.
I know that I have a prophetic calling on my life and God speaks to me in dreams and visions. My gifting was not fully developed when I received it and it has been a growth process, so i can understand why there is a need for a prophetic school or a prophetic conference as the equipping of the saints was the main reason why Jesus gave us apostles, evangelists, pastors and teachers
In Ephesians 4:12 it says
11 And [His gifts to the church were varied and] He Himself appointed some as apostles [special messengers, representatives], some as prophets [who speak a new message from God to the people], some as evangelists [who spread the good news of salvation], and some as pastors and teachers [to shepherd and guide and instruct], 12 [and He did this] to fully equip and perfect the saints (God’s people) for works of service, to build up the body of Christ [the church];
We are all learning. My teacher is the Holy Spirit. I believe every single believer can prophecy as we all have received One Spirit, the Spirit of Christ. I do however believe we all have different callings.
My point is, I do believe there is a place for Prophetic schools and growing in the gifting God has given us.
You are called as a Teacher. I am sure you are growing in your gifting and have attended some form of training.
Therefore I believe there is a need for each gifting to be developed and matured through schools, training and seminars.
Hope I make sense.
Look forward to hearing from you.
Elsje
Greetings Elsje,
That is a good question and I suspect Pastor Rudolph, who contributed this article, will respond, but in the meantime, I have a few thoughts. As we take the question in the order it appears in the passage, we find that as Saul arrived at the hill, “a band of prophets met him.” The word in your question is “band.” It is translated, “a group of” in the NASB 95, NLT, NKJV, HCSB, CSB. It is translated, “a company of” in the KJV 1900, NET, AV 1873 “a band of” in the NRSV, ASV 1901, “a procession of” LED, NIV, “a band” in the RSV, “a group” in the ESV and there are others. None of them translate it as a place of learning or improving one’s skills. If we said a company or band or gathering or procession of fishermen, we would not change the word to “school.” So, the text is not describing a place where Saul went to learn how to be a prophet or that others there were working on their ability to be a prophet. It is simply a group or gathering of those who were prophets engaging in prophesying.
In the same verse, 1 Samuel 10:10 we find that there was no learning or improving but rather that, “Spirit of God came mightily upon him, and he spoke under divine inspiration among them.” The ESV renders it “the Spirit of God rushed upon him, and he prophesied among them.” The idea is it was sudden and powerful. This is what we also find in the New Testament. In the next verse, the translation which Rudolph uses, it reads like the Amplified Bible Classic Edition, “And when all who knew Saul before saw that he spoke by inspiration among the [schooled] prophets,” It should be noted that “schooled” is in brackets. That means it is not in the text but was added by the translator. So, there is nothing in the text which lends itself to thinking it is a school or a place where fledgling prophets sharpened their skills. The context of the passage had to do with validating to the people of Israel his appointment as king through particular signs (10:1-9).
You may have leadings, etc, but in Scripture at least, the calling of a prophet was direct revelation, immediately known to and communicated by the prophet without error. Training and or improving on one’s calling as a pastor or teaching of God’s word is something which Paul tells Timothy to pursue. That is never the case for a true prophet. Our recent article, “Michael Brown and the False Prophets” may also be helpful.
Amen yes! Your right Elsje I see becouse people may not be fully anointed on a certain or calling or can’t HEAR God as they do they are called false prophets, people need to be careful becouse if God has ordained/ called that person to be the ORACLE of God you maybe calling God a liar whooo to Him take heed ! No were in bible does it say tounges have Seized or prophets or Apostles . Why would people think there discernment is on point ,? To what measure..
God bless the body of Christ with fear , revelation, truth and wisdom..
For us, the question isn’t whether or not there are prophets today. We have a view on that, but there is a bigger issue. Anyone who claims to be a prophet IS, by their own proclamation, a prophet. The question is if they are true or false prophets. God has not left this to guesswork on our part, but there are tests given. “False Prophets Prophesying Falsely” may be helpful to some of the readers.
— You said:”…The Spirit came upon them and they immediately performed what God enabled them to do, without error.”
That’s not true. Prophets are human and make errors. Jonah was swallowed by the large fish because he did err, and did not do what God wanted.
— You seem to think we cannot command demons?
Then what is the purpose of being told that the earliest signs of those who believe in Christ and their fruits would be casting out demons in the name of Christ?
John chapter 14:
12 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.
13 And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.
14 If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.
15 ¶ If ye love me, keep my commandments.
— You think it’s heresy to say people are little gods even though God said we are created in His image and He wants us to become perfect as He is.
That would mean that we are like Him and we can become like Him. Jesus himself came to the earth and received the same human body that we have. We are indeed like God, but we need to truly become like God by following His will for us and learning to love as God does.
Maybe you should invest in a spell checker rather than speak I’ll of God’s phophet? You study the word but clearly have no relationship with God.
When you caution others on spelling….make sure about your own my friend…
….speak “I’ll” of God’s “phophet”……
Our lives has been changed and restored since we have been with Encounter. Prophet Leon du Preez is not false….he does what God tells him to do and not man. That is why Encounter Church members can walk in the fullness that God is promising His children in the word. Stop with this nonsens of speaking against a anointed person, and do God’s Prophets no harm. Ask any true Prophet…that mantle that they are carrying is costing him and his family everything……a difficult road that they need to walk for everyone in their ministry to be blessed. To this person who wrote this article….you too can have this life in overflow…repent and get connected with Encounter….you will never be the same again.
I understand that when followers of false teachers see the exposure of their favored false prophet or false teacher, they feel compelled to defend their investment in following their favored false prophet, even buying into the out-of-context use of phrases like not touching God’s anointed. For others who may read this response, “Trapped in the Shadow of God’s Anointed” may be helpful.
Please keep exposing Leon for who his is and what his ministry stands for.
He does no adhere to the 10 commandments, the true 7th day Sabbath (Friday sunset to Saturday sunset) and neither does he teach Torah observance.
We are not under the law but under grace
I think your teacher infers that there is no need for prophecy. Yet the bible clearly says otherwise just off the top in Romans 12:6. If you don’t want the fullness of God’s gifts you don’t have to have it. There is more than just salvation in your relationship and walk.
The article takes no position on whether prophecy has continued to today or ceased in the first century. The question is are those who claim to be prophets true prophets or false prophets as per Matthew 7:15-23, 2 Peter 2:1, Deuteronomy 13, Deuteronomy 18 and other passages. Leon is exposed as a false prophet.
I agree, you speak a lot about the prophet, but don’t know him. He clearly states that it is not him or any of the pastors there that must be exalted. All tithe but that is so God can bless you, cause it is fruitful ground. God is looking at our obedience, He says in Malachi test in me in this if I will not open a blessing that is too much to contain, So God is testing our faith. Praying in the Holy Spirit will take you to a higher level of relationship with God.
I agree that the mantle that he is carrying is costing him and his family everything. And his teachings and prophecies are anointed. I have never seen a man go through such persecution, unless not in South Africa for his faith, that is a sure sign that if he wasn’t a true man of God why would the devil even bother him? No, it is because his family and leaders are obedient to God.
Our associate, Pastor Boshoff, does an admirable job addressing the question of whether Leon Du Preez is a false prophet or not. Whether Leon clearly states he is not to be exalted or not is an entirely different issue. Biblically, if he makes one false prophecy, he is, by definition, a false prophet. In the Hebrew Scriptures, he was to be stoned to death. Today he should be escorted from the church. Two articles we have written may be helpful. “True Prophecies by False Prophets?” and “False Prophets Prophesying Falsely“
One does not have to “know” Leon du Preez. ANYONE that reads the Bible themselves (and does not pay this charlatan to read for them) can discern this devil in the pulpit. Mark and avoid!! What a bunch of undiscerning pew-sitters he has!
The consequence of following false Prophets like Leon is a sad one:
I will stretch out my hand upon him, and will destroy him from the midst of my people Israel. And they shall bear the punishment of their iniquity: the punishment [destruction] of the [false] prophet shall be even as the punishment of him that seeketh [follows] unto him;”
–Ezekiel 14:9-10
“Let them alone: they be blind leaders of the blind. And if the blind lead the blind, both shall fall into the ditch.”
–Matthew 15:14
What kind of Christian has no love for other people? What kind of author allows this in the comments? I don’t know Leon or his teachings but clearly this article along with these comments are very distasteful. You should all be praying for his ministry and congregation if you so believe it to be false instead of name calling people. This is not what following Jesus is about. Sies.
Attempts have been and continue to be made to bring about repentance. In the Old Testament, false prophets were to be stoned to death. We do not live in a theocracy but are still supposed to publicly denounce false prophets.
I dont want to know him – he is a false prophet. Just read your Bible and compare. Leon’s spiritual father is Uebert Angel a British-Zimbabwean Businessman and a preacher. His name appears on a US Department of Justice list along with 9,612 other people who paid for fake degrees. He is an evangelical preacher and the founder of Spirit Embassy, a Pentecostal ministry in the United Kingdom. He has been accused of financial fraud and sexual misconduct. In 2023 he was found running a money laundering scheme by abusing his diplomatic privileges. His teachings is not in line with the Bible – now that TB Joshua has finally been exposed there is space in the movement again – he is worth $500 million! And that being in South Africa – my friend gave yes gave him her money – based on a his future telling – now she is bankrupt and believes she did sin to deserve it – how is people so guilable if we all ready the same Bible, serve the same God? Really, this church is about him and not God. His astral teachings is crazy – I guess being a drug addict gives satan that spiritual gap in his live. This is for sure not from my God.
I have a friend thats in huge financial trouble because of this man. I am amazed at how guilable people is. He ticks all the cult boxes. He is straight out of the Toronto blessings. And that.. Is not from God
Whoo! This guy is so far off the mark that he believes in himself. The problem is, that his followers blindly persuit his teachings. According to the Word this is such gross wrong teaching. People must begin to seek the pure purpose and teaching of the Lord Jesus Christ in order not to be lead astray. If people measure up the sayings and doings to the inerrant Word of God, their eyes will be opened to truth and truth alone in Jesus Christ of Nazareth. I send this message as a warning to all fellowmen
If anyone doubts that Leon is false the attached link may open your eyes. I would advise you to pray and ask Hod for guidance before watching the link. In my own observation, I noticed that this guy was not genuine. This was the first time I heard of Leon. My immediate alert came with him saying that the word of the Lord came to him saying that God will pour out the spirit of “Benson Idahosa”.
-Firstly the Bible promises an out pouring of God’s Spirit and not of a man.
– Secondly, he condescends us with the term “chrsitianese”
– thirdly he copied a statement made by another false prophet in regards to Benson raising his own mom from the dead 10 days after she died. The false prophet refutes those claims, saying the video was doctored to make him look bad. This after Bensons founding church refuted those claims. Yet we have Leon copying this guy, k owing he will have people getting excited.
Scripture says we are destroyed because of a lack of knowledge, the knowledge of God’s law. We as a people lack the principle of going back to scripture to read whether what was said aligns with the word of God. People like Leon have the ability to even fool the elect of God. Let’s wake up out of our slumber and seek God’s face more than His hands. https://fb.watch/eNT-gDHMpl/
I do not normally comment when I read stuff like this, but you guys are religious nuts. Jesus battled with guys like you and He still does today. Just read your bible and believe what it says and do what it says!!!! It will take only the Holy Spirit to unravel all that religious nonsense from your minds and shame on you for dividing the body of Christ. I pray the love of God infusers you with the reality of the life of Christ and that you be found in Him and not your intellectually bound mind!!
I am glad you raised this issue, it provides a teachable moment from Scripture on the issue of false prophets. Jesus is the One who warned to “Beware of false prophets” (Matthew 7:15). Being fully God as well as fully human, He is the One Who gave the criteria for determining false prophets in Deuteronomy 13 & 18. If they made a single prophecy that failed, they are false prophets. Even if they make a true prophecy but teach a false view of God, they are false prophets. According to Jesus, a false prophet may perform miracles, prophesy in His name, and cast out demons they may still be a false prophet. One failed prophecy or teaching a false view of God is the criteria. So, it seems your issue is more with Jesus than with us. We are just trying to be obedient to His commands on this issue.
Ah, this guy who claimed in 2021 that someone was following his luxury car around outside Midstream, posting he had a luxury vehicle and that he was a target because of his “celebrity” status. Just another scammer; using God to further his hunger for money and notoriety.
I just want to say, don not judge Leon. We may not speak against a Anointed man of God. Who are we to say something is not from GO if you see what is happening in Encounter chirch. God is working in differnet ways with people. We are not little Gods, we a vessels of God.
Biblically we are to warn against and expose false prophets. If he were to repent of being a false prophet we would gladly embrace him as a brother but I doubt that is something Leon would do.
