Sacred Right or Sacred Rite?

California Senator Dianne Feinstein, at the Senate confirmation hearing for Senator Jeff Sessions, voiced her concern that if he is approved as Attorney General, he would overstep his authority and prevent child sacrifice. Of course, Feinstein did not use the term “child sacrifice,” preferring to utilize the euphemistic term “choice” instead. Such word substitutions do indeed make the killing process sound kinder.
