I am currently serving in Ukraine and already have experienced the difficulty of ministering to people in the Orthodox church who think of themselves as Christian, yet don't know the Bible or God or Jesus, for that matter. Yes, America is becoming a mission field! When you said, Evangelicalism has changed a lot with the advent of the “Seeker Sensitive” and “Purpose Driven” market based product which is the current popular way “of doing church.” Most people think of "doing church" as doing Christianity, or as something they need to do.
